The World Spirit in Oath Breaker

The World Spirit is a god-like figure in the Chronicles of Ancient Darkness. It is seen as all powerful spirit residing in the Mountain of the World Spirit. It is rumored to take on many forms, such as a man with deer antlers in the summer and a women with bare red willow branches for hair in the winter. It is often deemed as the cause for many acts, such as the avalanche that killed the demon bear. The World Spirit was the one to make Torak a spirit walker when he was born. He prophesied that Torak must fight all his life to destroy the evil his father helped create. In the winter the World Spirit takes the form of a woman with red willow hair. In the summer it looks like a man with the antlers of a stag. It is both feared and respected, and it is considered bad luck to see it.
