Luta is a member of the Raven Clan. She is Thull's mate and Dari's mother. When Oslak, dazed with illness, attempts to coax Dari towards the river, Thull holds Luta back. Torak then shares a shelter with Luta and Thull. In Outcast, after Torak is named an outcast, Luta burns his cooking skin.
