The Cormorant Clan is a Clan which lives lives on Cormorant Island, the second largest island of the Seal Islands. They belong to the Sea Clans and, just like the other Sea Clans, the Cormorants have a very deep bond with the Sea.
The Cormorant Clan has an old legend, from before the Great Wave, in which a man accidentally caught and killed a Hunter (killer whale). He then was too ashamed and afraid to go out in a boat for the rest of his life, until one day he built up the courage and was immediately killed by a Hunter. This tale is well known to the Seals as well.
